I’m not saying pc is bad or console is better or anything like that. It’s a mechanic I like that is really subdued when using a mouse. Recoil exists and adds a bit of realism to some games. Besides, using a mouse almost nullifies weapon recoil on must games which is something I don’t like. I do not feel like devoting the time to redeveloping fps skills. It’s mostly because I’m much better on the console relatively, whereas on PC you play against people that are much more competitive and have god tier aiming. Anything that has a visual appeal, isn’t competitive, or really just isn’t a first person shooter. I like PC for games like subnautica or stardew valley. I personally like the analogue on controllers much more for first person shooters. I play both and will continue to support both. I had just built a Cyclops and now it's gone. Sorry about the rant, but I just lost three hours of progress and I'm feeling really frustrated and disheartened. The lag and the loading times are still bearable somewhat. It's really hard to play the game when the map doesn't load and your games don't save. I love this game to death, but throw me a bone here guys. From what I've read this issue has been present since the early builds, and they still haven't gotten around to fix it? The screen is cut off, making the game version cut off, so I can only see a portion of the word "Game" and numbers 462.Īnyone have any magical solution, or is the game currently like this on Xbox? It feels like it's happening when the map is rendering and well.that's kinda inconvenient. Subnautica: Below Zero will be available on May 14 for Xbox One and Xbox Series XS. I opened pressed LB+RB+Start for the developer menu, went to graphics and toggle everything off expect for Water Volume and WBOIT Trans, and composite and I am still experiencing lag while swimming around and shanking stuff. sure it's playable but being attacked by something and having to defend myself isn't too fun. I'm just swimming along, shanking everything I can reach and FPS (probably) drops to about 5-10, from what seemed like 20-30, ends in about 3 seconds and repeats every 10-15 seconds. Yet I am 3-4 hours in and I am starting to be bothered by the constant FPS spikes. Compared to what it was before, it's beautiful.

Purchased Subnautica very recently, after playing the trial about 3 weeks ago and being disappointed by the constant FPS problems I gave up only to take it up again now. Hey folks, this has probably been discussed too many times but here I go anyways.
